THROUGH A RAPIST EYES

This was an excellent article by a journalist in Hyderabad, all credit is given to Andhra Pradesh,  who interviewed prisoners who were rapists and date rapists who answered specific questions about their strategies to set up potential victims.  I thought it would be helpful to all concerned.

“THROUGH A RAPIST’S EYES” (Repost)(PLS TAKE TIME TO READ THIS. it may save a life.) Click Share Button To share it on your Wall.

It seems that a lot of attackers use some tactic to get away with violence. Not many people know how to take care of themselves when faced with such a situation. Everyone should read this especially each n every girl in this world.

THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD INFO TO PASS ALONG…

FYI – Through a rapist’s eyes! A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts:

1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun!, braid or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets.

2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women who’s clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing.

3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities:  Those that are least paying attention to the surrounding while walking would become the most likely victim because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered.

4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots.

5] Number two is office parking lots/garages.

6] Number three is public restrooms.

7] Removing the victim from the Primary Location: The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second l ocation where they don’t have to worry about getting caught.

8] Put up a Fight or Resistance:  If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn’t worth it because it will be time-consuming.

9] Those carrying “weapons” would be the least likely to be a victim:  These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas, or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands.

10] A key in your hand is better than none:  Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you’re not worth it.

POINTS THAT WE SHOULD REMEMBER:

1] If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage go with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: can’t believe it is so cold out here, we’re in for a bad winter. Now that you’ve seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up, you lose appeal as a target.

2] If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they’d leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would not be afraid to fight back.Again, they are looking for an EASY target.

3] If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.

4] If someone grabs you, you can’t beat them with strength but you can do it by outsmarting them.  If youare grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and armpit or in the upper inner thigh – HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used

the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts.

5] After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy’s parts itis extremely painful. You might think that you’ll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble, and he’s out of there.

6] When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked audibly.

7] Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don’t dismiss it, go with your instincts. You may feel little silly at the time, but you’d feel much worse if the guy really was trouble.

FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THESE AS WELL ….

I know you are smart enough to know these pointers but there will be some, where you will go “hmm I must remember that” After reading, forward it to someone you care about, never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do:The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it.

2. Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans :  if a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you…. chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

3. If you are ever get thrown into the trunk of a car:  Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy.  The driver won’t see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.

4. Stay Alert & Move into your car or vehicle immediately.  Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON’T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.

5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:

a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. (DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB) .

b. If you! u are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

c. Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs.

Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot

7. If the assailant is armed with weapon:  If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN!  The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times;  And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ.

RUN!

8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic:   STOP IT!   It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked “for help” into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

I’d like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle.

To follow up with a few additions from our practice of Aikido,  Ju jitsu and Judo, if we are attacked we move off the line of the attack first, keep our hands in front of our center line, if pulled in close we are attacking their balance by movement and attacking their eyes, throat, groin, shin, and stomping the ankle arches.

One of the main Principles we teach is Awareness of self and environment, our country is falling into social, economic decline so it is best to follow all of the suggestions presented in this excellent journalistic article.

CLARITY

As I have stated in”infinity/embodied spirituality” we can’t seem to move on in our awakening until we have seen through ourselves and the distractions that have come from mental/emotional distortions that seem to be the definition that we have labelled ourselves with as our identity.  They seem to be reinforced by others in society that are doing their dance with their distractions to the point that we have created the world around heresay, assumptions and interpretations that are based mainly in our conceptual models of what we think we see.

So, why have we become so distracted?  Life has us distracted with its many mysteries and our seemingly infinite attempt to find “the answer”!  This search keeps us moving down the numerous paths to find a greater understanding and if we aren’t doing that, we are satisfied with where we have planed off in life and will go not further.

The more we tend to look to the exterior for answers, we move further away from ourselves which, if we are going to awaken to our Source, we need to move to what we can call our interior or consciousness at the level of who and what we truly are, using our honest, open ended contemplation to get to the truth of any mental emotional distortions that have become the gap or duality so we are entranced by it and don’t know we are living as if it is part of our Identity.

To live the trance dance of distortion and disfunctional states for one’s whole life seems to be what a lot of people do in habitually circling through the gutters of emotions as anger, guilt, shame and blame and assuming unconsciously that is their real condition when somewhere along the way on their linear existence they have got stuck in the emotional debris of reacting the same way over and over again, call it the “way that I am” and will defend this behaviour most of their life even if it kills them from contraction of life spirit.

I personally know people who are so deeply involved with their drama to the point of hemorrhaging and have almost died.  Their emotional habit patterns have completely overwhelmed their life where they have no consciousness as to who and what they are, they just unconsciously, consistently, react to anything and everything because the drama somewhat is keeping them going so they can stave off their boredom.

If one can see that they are the creator of this drama story line from any sense of Awareness they might have a chance to see,  through contemplation of these supposed issues and get to the bottom line of the truth to possibly get to an open ended space where the issue, emotional drama can be seen with some clarity so they can start living without it anymore in their life and one can feel some relief and be a little more authentic.

Unconscious reaction to anything allows no consciousness to come into play and therefore will keep one asleep thinking they are really alive because they have the right to scream, get angry and most of the time blame others for situations that have arisen even though the other had nothing to do with it, in other words, projection, the easiest way of having no accountability, denial.

Clarity, or seeing through ourselves transparently, allows us Spiritual insight that serves us in freeing us from the potential mental/emotional aberrations discussed in the previous paragraphs.  To take an issue to its very core and observe the structure of it and find our fixation that is involved in it so that we can undermine its hold on our psyche so that it can dissolve from its origin, resistance to “what is” and holding onto it like it is who and what we are.

In our practice of Aikido, we practice from the principles of non resistance, non conflict, and non harm in relation to “what is” or to stay in Presence and practice flowing with the energy of the interaction from our centered inner Presence  to accept the present moment, again, from “embodied spirituality”.

This translates into our daily experience in which we can have insight into our inner actions on a consistent basis instead of the regular thinking and mostly emotional reactions that come from possibly long term habits that we already discussed above that keep one sedated in their conditioning that they have never investigated through contemplation.

From our place as Awareness/Consciousness we are our shining Presence that is who we are as no obstruction radiating as the One Intensity that is our nature as the Infinite Oneness in which all seems to arise, emerge  and is constantly re absorbed in the non concern of the all embracing Love Source that upholds all with its gentle, All Knowing Truth.  Thank you,

Will Gable

INFINITY/EMBODIED SPIRITUALITY

Living here on space ship earth we tend to assume what we view as the sky as where we end and infinity begins.  We also assume the sun “comes up in the morning” and yet a lot of these assumptions are just that, we assume, we don’t investigate.  We are basically walking on nothing as the earth spins in the sky and the sky cannot even be verified, again, we are defining things we experience in existence with words and definitions that attempt to describe them within ourselves or others so we can communicate about what we think is happening.

Letting go of this tendency, we may start to see things, “as they are” without our layering them with labels, words and definitions which allows us to step out of the control panel that we have created to try and make sense and meaning out of our existence.  Once we can live from the clarity that this reveals we realize that we have been trying to hypothesize  and conceptualize our lives as mentioned in
“Cracking the Cosmic Eggo” and not seeing it for what it is.

At this point we can start to see through our habitual attempts  to maintain control of our existence from the control panel of survival and the agendas that are effected from our unconscious dependencies  on our primal nature.  When one’s attention is turned back on itself to become Aware of Awareness then we can start to free ourselves from the mind and its sometimes insane trap of obsessiveness with having to keep up with and know everything.  We can merge into Not Knowing and feel the Peace of Being without having to think about anything.

Awareness and Being are the keys to our Freedom of our Spirit to the dooway of the Divine which our Creator Self which is in our Heart. (He Art)  Consciousness of our True Self at the core of our Being, as the Heart of One’s true Light.   “We feel through our Soul, the gift of Spirit we must not lose, the Creator meant it to be, because through this great or small place in us, LOVE FLOWS.”  @Awakening 1974 Will Gable

Touching Infinity for a moment is enough to transform one’s life beyond any ambition or vision.  It opens our Heart to the call of the Unknown, and yet that is truly our REAL HOME.  The REAL absorbs anything that seems to be brought before it in the Light of Reality.  Existence is as it is and always will be and these are only fragmented attempts to describe the FREEDOM AND JOY that LIVE AS THE ISNESS OF IS.

“The chief concern of most men is mainly the game of life they are playing, if they would only stop the game and see the REALITY of life everyday, the full realization of BEING would be exposed and then life wouldn’t have to be won, but KNOWN.”  @Awakening 1974  Will Gable

These are brief writings that came out of my SOUL AWAKENING in the early 70″s, my journey then became searching for a platform that Spiritually could lead others  to their own awakening.  I found that Principled basis in the art of Aikido.  Aikido has all the elements for practitioners to awaken to their Spiritual Self.

Aikido is based in resolving conflict through the understanding of using the power of Universal Principles instead of using force on force muscle approach.  We stay in constant motion in relation to the force that is coming towards us in order to stay in flow with what is being presented, whether it be a physical, emotional or mental attack.  We stay in open ended Awareness being able to access multiple ways of dealing with the what is arising in the moment so as to not let our mind/adrenaline get fixed on any one aspect of the situation.

Through our practice of resolving conflict we are actually dealing with transcending duality in a fully embodied approach.  You can sit in meditation for years and think you have transcended your own resistances until you step on to the mat practicing Aikido, this will open you to whether or not you have fully moved into non resistance in your existence because this is “fully embodied spirituality”, based in total movement in and as Wholeness, not just sitting quietly in contemplation, Aikido demands your Whole embodiment and involvement.

I know people who meditate constantly, and I am not down playing meditation,  but when faced with situations of potential conflict have no stability,  groundedness, or centering and usually come out with often bizarre emotional expression, even violence,  because they don’t deal with themselves or others face to face and be trustworthy in their moment to moment INNER ACTIONS.  Aikido allows us to grow gradually to where we can deal with ourselves in relation to others wholistically to where we see through our ego mechanisms transparently, that have been unconscious and that sets us up for resistance in most instances.

Aikido opens you up to see your resistances of your ego/mind, helps you to see it clearly so your total self can clear it from your unconscious.  If you never have to deal with these unseen elements of ones self, they keep influencing you in ways that you don’t understand unless they can be dismantled through the practice of non-resistance, transparency and to be able to let go of the energy of the unconscious resistance that you think is real.

Our True Nature is “embodied spirituality”.  We have transcended our ego/mind so as to awaken to the Freedom of living  as the Spirit Self which has always lived as the Essential Nature of the body/mind,  but the myopic fragments of emotional/mental distortions became distractions and created a barrier of duality between consciousness and the Truth of the Light of our Infinite Nature.

Only the ignorance thought of as knowledge, mental ego knowledge, in the form of language, created the world.  As was stated earlier in this article, we tend to live through words, definitions and meanings that mainly we have learned from others, this is our assumption and distraction that concept is reality.

Clearing the body/mind of the landmines of distraction truly opens one to the “body is the temple of the wholly spirit”.  Cleansed and clarified by Spiritual Fire we move into the simplicity of accessing the Truth in each moment, shining as our Authentic Presence.

Sincerely, Will Gable

“Spontaneous practice and living come from freeing ourselves from the mechanical conditions of existence, PRINCIPLE TRANSCENDS EGO.  Will Gable @2003

“We can finally find our home in the Heart of Aikido and relax truly into the path of least resistance where we can openly allow the essence to smooth out our concepts about anything and awaken to the Prescence of Love as our True originator.  Will Gable @2005

“So the information and consciousness that is being gleaned is transmitted via our kinesthetic sharing in which we are communicating on a multi-channel processing dialogue which is felt in the silent levels of intuitive guidance.”  Will Gable @ 2006

“Letting go of our possible addiction to have an “image” in the mind to think we are alive frees us from the reductionist viewpoint of linear consensus reality which allows us to start seeing through the eclipse of beliefs, conditioning, concepts that have shadowed our life obstructing our original, inner Spiritual Light Source Nature inherently flowing from the Heart of IAM.  Will Gable @2010

“If we live as if the NOW is between the past and the future, we are still living in and on linear consensus reality and think because we are being mindful we have awakened to the transcendent and vertical NOW.  Mindfulness is being aware of what possibly is in front of us, being awakened to the Prescence serves just that function.  Will Gable @2010

“As one awakens into the unknown, insight becomes ones mode of relationship and the mind may be held in abeyance only as a useful tool of consciousness as one transcends “what is not” in the each moment and is living from “what is”, as consciousness/awareness which is existence freedom from the primal conceptual mind set.  Will Gable @2010

The practice of Principle starts to take us away from our ego/mind structure where again, Principle transcends Ego, and we find ourselves entering a dimension of effortless solutions to some of our “predetermined assumptions” about how things are, especially when one has never been moved around with not even a fingers insertion.  Once we start to feel through our center consistently we begin to let go of trying to make things happen and see the magic that is present once we access the SILENCE STILLNESS within from our letting go of our structuring of the world whirl.

The freedom of Being is transcendent and the survival agendas of the eggo/mind are not designed to understand that dimension, they are only to serve the biological that nature designed to further it’s existence.  If we are to move beyond this online modality that we inherited, we need to see it’s inherent structure and in accessing the NOW of SILENCE/STILLNESS, allow ourselves to step into the absence of presence where we can vacate what one thinks they are presently.   Sincerely, Will Gable

Our involvement with our Art of Aikido has as its Primary Principle, that Budo or the way of the Spiritual warrior is Love,  from our Founder, Moreihei Uyeshiba and all other Principles follow this profound realization from his enlightenment.  That we are to Unify ourselves Spiritually and forge our Lives with a commitment to “awakening”,  through disciplining our waywardness in the world to the Principles of the Universe and live our lives as examples of Free, Open, and Existential Truth and Light.  That we realize that the Universe is and has always been intrinsically living AS EXISTENCE  through the ISNESS that it is, ETERNALLY, UNDEFINED.

Once we awaken to the vertical  in consciousness/awareness of the NOW, we have a chance to step outside of this mortal shell, “death, where is thy victory?” We now have the awareness to have CLARITY, or standing free from “what is not” clear enough to see from the realm of non attachment truly.  Remember, the “home that is nowhere, that is the true place,” if you take the word nowhere and break it down to the root, it reveals itself as NOW HERE.  So, the true NOW is our true place or doorway to the INFINITE as our Source because INFINITE SOURCE is always HERE NOW, except that we may not have accessed contact because of the distortion of finite vibrational definitions and forms with which the mind tends to become attached and distracted.

Sincerely, Will Gable

TRUST THE PROCESS

In our practice and involvement with the Spiritual Principles of Aikido we find ourselves at the crossroads of the linear and the vertical realms of experiential knowledge and the application of this direct knowledge within our everyday lives.  We practice from many levels of ourselves simultaneously, giving up some of the defaults we thought were very much our core, only to find they were based  on merely assumptions not only in the martial applications we have practiced in the past, but also our physical/psycho/emotional lives and where we had leveled off as our life expression.

To bring about change within the individual we lead them towards what I have termed to “trust the process” which means to open themselves to the process of “self authentication.”

Finding out through Principle how they can let go of who they think they are through the experiential platform that Aikido provides. We all go through our lives living from emotional positions such as guilt, shame, being stubborn and really never question these places one tends to live as a real expression of who and what we are.  We may have been consistently assaulted with elements of blame, abuse and many other neurotic behaviours that tend to become predominant in one’s psyche/soma and spread their nasty elements that become who we think we are and possibly never get past them over a lifetime.

As has been stated before in previous essays one needs to step beyond themselves into what is termed the UNKNOWN.  This takes the awareness that one has plateaued and is possibly stuck in negative emotions that are constricting the individual’s consciousness into living out emotional positions that are accepted to be normal by society although they may be looked upon as limiting or neurotic by the psychiatric community.  If we can start to see these constrictions from awareness/consciousness then one might be able to step back in awareness to see that one is caught in a emotion or thought complex and start to be able to observe it.  If one can observe the thought, then one is not necessarily the thought. Once we begin to see beyond what is normally assumed to be who we are, we can let go into what we are beyond the linear models that have held one spellbound.  This is where we can start to “trust the greater process”, although, we might not be able to define what that is specifically, we may have noticed that we are able to let go of the possible obsessive distractions that have absorbed our life so far.

One of these arenas that seems to distract one effectively is unexamined belief structures that can be in any part of our life, personal, religious, political to name a few.  These beliefs are for the most part adopted from others, institutions, and can be formed by the individual unconsciously because of experiences that the person felt were more significant than others and assigned presumptive assumptions to these experiences that may have only been reactions to certain situations.

So, we can form beliefs around just about anything, which leaves us living from preconceived conceptions  that can lead us away from our center in relation to Prescence. As long as we don’t get lost in conceptualization of existence we can stay in Prescence to “what is” and see that we can through Awareness be able to use conceptual ability to achieve lots of our intentions, but we are never the concepts, they are only tools of creative possibility,  not our True Nature.  Thank you, Will Gable

PRINCIPLE: THE DOORWAY TO TRUTH

Today on blogtalkradio.com, Sharon and I discussed on our talk radio show, The Edge of Truth.

We talked about  how Principle draws us closer to the Truth of Existence and how the Art of Aikido,  which is based on Universal Principles, works in conjunction with accomplishing one’s desire for Self Realization such as the art of SELFGnosis™ makes possible.

Listen to internet radio with SharonQuinn on Blog Talk Radio.

Interestingly, both arts serve the higher purposes of consciousness shifting.   They help shift the ego’s external perceptions to the inner recognitions of how Spirit permeates all of life from an orientation of Love rather than fear.

Enjoy!

LIVING AS AWARENESS/CONSCIOUSNESS

As we have allowed our self to open to SILENCE STILLNESS and to UNITY CONSCIOUNESS we find ourselves not as a thing, but as AWARENESS purely.  The self is a control mechanism that nature has inherently included in the software program of most humans.  “It” has instinctual forces that can overwhelm the brain to the point that survival and winning can be yardsticks by which one is measured to be worthy of living here.  There can seem to be no alternative to these forces of nature or even that anyone questions the need to have one.  We seem to be online at birth and yet we don’t know how to define what it is we are doing here, but survival seems to be the overwhelming option, since we are helpless.

If we stay entranced in the survival mode included in the primal package we may stay on that vibrational platform our whole life and stay in different emotional and intellectual positions within the potential consciousness and strive within the society or culture in which we have emerged to fulfill our desirous adventures.  There is nothing right or wrong with fulfilling what you desire, it can take you to great heights of accomplishment, and yet it is mainly the extension of survival which is based in gain and loss and the focus is unconsciously aligned with perceptions in duality.

At some point one will have mastered the ambition survival agendas for ones self, does one keep on trying to win the game that seems so objective or out there?  This may or may bring one to questioning what they are really doing here besides selling the next product or winning the next tournament.  If we are at this place, it could include greed, power plays, and all the games that the ego/self has in reserve to preserve its position in society and yet these are only where the consciousness of the individual could possibly reside and the intellectual and emotional positions that seem to support these continuous agendas have not been inspected with any awareness/consciousness, the bottom line is profit and loss.

The possibility for one to awaken to any greater consciousness is always potentially there within all of us and yet the control agendas that seem to run one seem to dominate most waking, sleeping and dreaming moments.  I have discussed this in previous posts in the form of distractions in the self and the seeming world, the agendas of convenience, entertainment and pleasure.  To turn towards the Truth of ones existence, again, not the factual truth, the ego must see its place and mature to the point in seeing that it is not the Source of anything, it has its place, but is in no way the Creator!  It has been outshined by the greater, already existing Reality and as such HUMILITY is where it is laid down once awareness/consciousness is accessed and one can see through the survival/ambition agendas for what they are.

When the practice of SILENCE/STILLNESS is consistent one is able to still the ego/mind of its sometimes incessant bantering about everything, not able to let things be as they are without analysis, thinking, and concern.  To be able to see that a lot of this concern is how the ego/mind keeps one entranced in the agenda of habit and the constant circling of attention and thinking this is you!  We can start to step out of this by being STILL and see the energy patterns that may have governed one for way too long in the form of thoughts, feelings and noise and whether they are genuine or the ego/mind in its control grid.

This crucial step can be the start of the much uproar in that the habit patterns may have become addictive to the ego/mind which likes to control things from the agendas of survival, convenience, entertainment and pleasure, if things get revealed by bypassing what was considered normal by SILENCE/STILLNESS then they start to lose their hold in the circle of habits and addictions and then one might be able to see the fog lifting and the Prescence of Light shining where these agendas seemed so entrenched as ones self.

Once this AWAKENING has emerged and we now have stepped away from the control grid of the ego/mind, we can start to live from awareness and see that we are actually living free from the conceptual mind which is mostly unconsciously assumed to be who we are, after seeing that this is a collective unit of assumptions that can resemble a contraction in and of consciousness.  “We think therefore we are is pure Descartes,” we just are what we are “prior to any thinking, but thinking through the conceptual models of words and the meanings we gave them to communicate is another function in the contraction of consciousness that designates itself as “I”.

Identifying what seems to be our collective self as “I” gives one the illusion through the attachment, that they are the ego/body/mind and as stated above, never question it.  If this assumed attachment is never disassembled through SILENCE/STILLNESS so that one can access consciousness/awareness one can be stuck in the unconscious in emotional debris sectors that seem so real for the person, but they are not able to access the vibrational levels of freedom, joy, love and higher vibrational fields that are in abundance once we can consciously realize the lessons of the level we are on and let go with gratitude and humility to the Spirit for showing us the way out and beyond what seems so solid and real from limitations of the assumed ego/mind.

Aikido is one of the most profound spiritual technologies on the planet today and  if seen for what it is, can open the mind of the individual to the beginning of their evolutionary journey to Spiritual realization.  The growth of the individual’s consciousness/awareness is constantly being brought through the elemental (earth, air, fire and water) emotional levels of testing in relation to the Principles of the Universal Spiritual energy so as to bring the individual to the Truth of their Existence which is Freedom from the survival mind.  We practice on a basic level, a survival art in order to bring ourselves to the point of transcending victory/defeat and thus duality.

PATIENCE AT ITS BEST….INGENIOUS

This video is to show us the ingeniousness of being patient in your endeavors, but mainly when being patient with others as in our Aikido school in their growth as the Spiritual human beings that they are and also being patient with ones own growth.  Imagine using your Aikido Principles in the creation of something this inspiring, especially the patience, harmony of inclusiveness of all persons involved and the open ended possibilities that are involved in fine tuning of the total process and the outcome that this video demonstrates as to using Aikido in our daily interactions on the GREATER MAT OF LIFE.  By the way, this work of art took them 49 times for us to hear what they wanted to produce as a completed expression of genius.

This is a recent email from one of my students and great friend, John Taylor, who is in the Air Force in Germany, he is always emailing me with intriguing ideas and posts like this one.  If the youtube does not come up for you, copy and paste it in you tube.  Thank you, Will Gable
